Problem
A nonprofit 1-8th grade private school focusing on students with dyslexia maintained no focused marketing efforts, consistent messaging or communications.
Story
At the beginning of this story, I soaked in as much information as I could about what had been tried, what worked and what didn’t. In the middle, I developed a plan to have a consistent social media presence, advertising to drive brand awareness and school interest and refined messaging and school success stories. In the end, my work enabled other members of the team to focus on their areas of expertise and to use data I provided to help inform business decisions. My work resulted in doubled website home page traffic year over year, a 30% increase in instagram followers and a 20% increase in facebook followers. The next chapter of this story involved working with a branding agency to further define key differentiators and incorporate them into messaging and branding across all communications and advertising.
Produced materials include social media advertisements, student success stories, marketing materials, graduation video, website content revisions and re-structuring, and swag production.
